Volunteer at The Open Door
Are you:

-
retired with time on your hands?

-
a student, especially in Health and Social Care professions?

-
looking to return to the workplace after a break?

-
a school pupil making a first venture into the world of work?
If you’ve ever volunteered with a charity you know it can be fun as well as very rewarding. If you never have, now is the time to give it a go. Whether you have lots of spare time or only a little, you can make a difference by volunteering at The Open Door.

Be encouraged by our Poem.

The Open Door works with the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme to provide volunteering experience
for those working towards a DoE award.
We also invite volunteers who themselves have needs, and provide extra support for them in their volunteering.

Ways you can volunteer
“Volunteers are unpaid. Not because they are worthless but because they are priceless”
